TREPTE PROJECT

Designed to their exact specification.

The Trepte family wanted a modern and bright open plan kitchen that was a little different from the ordinary. They approached Exact because of our bespoke design service, wide range of styles and finishes of the highest quality, and finally for the assurance that we could take care of everything, from design to fit out and completion. 

The CAD visuals were completed two years in advance, allowing us to work with the Trepte family and their architects to design the kitchen and utility area before their house was built. In the design stages, the family had specific visions of the style they wanted, opting for a contemporary handleless style with light concrete units and metal titanium island and walls, creating a fresh and vibrant feel. This was offset by a bold blue statement feature wall.

The family wanted a seating area as part of the kitchen but didn’t want a traditional breakfast bar. We designed and built from scratch a bespoke seating area with bold coloured fabric, acting as a statement piece in the room. The original CAD design fabric was turquoise green, but the Trepte's opted for a bold blue instead when it came to installation, two years later. 

For extra decoration, we included two decorative features at the end of the island - a plant pot and a storage unit for recipe books. We used LED lighting throughout the kitchen, and a ceiling panel was built above the breakfast bar which included Smart LED lighting that could be set to match the blue colour of the fabric. The kitchen was fitted out with a Caple wine cooler, Siemens oven and hob and a Quooker boiling tap.

We continued the modern, sleek design into the utility room, which was fitted with units that matched the kitchen, including a low seating unit, with storage underneath.
