Key Trends from the Beckermann Kitchen Show & Bora Experience Center
Last month, the exact Design Team had the pleasure of attending the Beckermann Kitchen Show and Bora Experience Center in Germany, to explore the latest trends and innovations in the kitchen industry. From new slim frame shaker kitchens to a self-cleaning sink, we can’t wait to introduce some of these features to our 2025 designs.
Samples will be available in our showroom in the next few weeks but for now, take a look below at some of the key trends from the show.
Fluted Doors
Fluted doors were a popular feature in many of the show’s displays. Their design offers a modern yet timeless touch to cabinetry. Their vertical grooves add texture and depth, transforming simple surfaces into standout features. Available in a number of tones and finishes, fluted doors bring a refined, handcrafted feel to your kitchen.
They seamlessly blend with minimalist or handleless designs, adding a subtle sophistication without overwhelming the space. We’re looking forward to introducing this trend into more of 2025 designs, for customers looking for the perfect finish to their contemporary kitchen.
New Slim Frame Shaker Kitchen
As the name suggests, this style features a narrower frame, giving it a sleeker, more contemporary appearance. The slim frame retains the Shaker's minimalist aesthetic but offers a more delicate, refined look.
This design is perfect for those who want a modern twist on a classic style, offering a lighter, more streamlined feel without losing the traditional Shaker appeal. We also love the autumnal colour combination of this example!

Bedroom Furniture
Something we’re excited to offer going into 2025 is bedroom furniture from Beckermann, including built-in or walk-in wardrobes with space-saving designs that optimise storage space.
Available in a number of colours and finishes, their sleek aesthetic would look at home in any modern bedroom looking for an update.
Walk in Pantry
For those with plenty of space and a desire for organisation, walk-in pantries are set to be a sought-after kitchen feature for 2025, offering both style and practicality in modern homes. As open-plan living continues to dominate, walk-in pantries provide a dedicated space to store food, small appliances, and kitchen essentials, keeping the main kitchen area clutter-free and visually streamlined.
Beyond functionality, they're becoming design features in their own right, with homeowners opting for bespoke shelving, integrated lighting, and even temperature control for optimal food storage. These pantries add a sense of luxury and organisation, making them a perfect addition to the modern kitchen.
Flexibility & Customisation
Beckermann are taking flexibility and customisation to the next level with their unique designs and range of colours and textures. Cut-outs in cupboard doors turn basic storage spaces into decorative features in their own right, while optimising the use of available space.
And with a range of finishes from natural stone to sleek white, you can also customise your space to your desired aesthetic.
Bora: Flushing Sink
One of our favourite takeaways from the show? A sink that cleans itself at the push of a button. BORA are no stranger to integrated kitchen technologies, and their latest innovation is set to be a game-changer for 2025.
Comprising a minimalist design (even the overflow is hidden on the non-visible side of the sink), robust materials and intuitive technology, we’re confident the
BORA self-cleaning sink is going to be a popular addition to kitchens following its Spring 2025 release.
