The Shivirani family came to us with visions of their dream kitchen for their new home. The family envisaged a warm shaker-style kitchen with a contemporary feel. They wanted the open-plan space to be stunning, while at the same time practical, as the heart of their new home that would be used daily by the whole family as well as for entertaining guests. 

Although the house was not yet built, we were able to work closely with the Shivirani's and their builders and architects to design the ideal kitchen. Once the house build was complete two years on, we were then able to instantly fit the kitchen and utility room without delay, as the design, payments and furniture had already been completed and sourced ready for installation. 

The kitchen featured stunning natural granite worktops which complemented perfectly with the shaker sand beige units to create a luxurious feel while maintaining a traditional touch. For a family that loves to cook, there needed to be enough space for everyone. We added three built-in Bosch ovens plus a coffee machine and a Blanco sink. The hob and extractor made excellent use of the kitchen’s standout canopy feature without compromising on functionality and practicality for a busy family life. 

The standout feature of the kitchen was the large island, acting as an eye-catching centrepiece for the room. The island brought together family life and cooking, creating a social space for the Shivirani family to relax together.
