The Bainbridges wanted an updated, practical bathroom for their home. They didn’t want anything ultra-modern, as they were conscious that it should fit with the design of the rest of their home, but they felt soft, neutral colours would suit the space. Having consulted other bathroom specialists, they ultimately decided to choose Exact as we could handle everything from design to plumbing and fit out.

The couple were conscious of investing in a bathroom that would last - they didn’t want to redo their bathroom in five years time, and required a space that would be practical for them now and in the years to come. We considered this carefully during the design and planning phase, selecting a shower that had a wet room panel rather than a sliding door, and that had no raised step. We also raised the toilet slightly for optimal comfort.

We also thought carefully about storage, which the couple were struggling with in their previous bathroom. By adding in storage units that matched perfectly with the soft beige colour scheme, as well as an Ideal Standard mirror cabinet, there was optimal storage space for the couple.

For a bathroom project, preparation is key. We undertook lots of work on the floors and walls to hide pipework which ultimately laid the groundwork to create a sleek, professional bathroom.
