The Martin family’s project was an unusual one, as they had just recently moved into a new build home in Arborfield that already had a kitchen installed. Although the kitchen space was lovely and had lots of potential, the current kitchen installed was far too small for their family and the size of the house. The family felt the layout was far too cramped and didn’t meet their needs. 

Having visited the exact showroom, the Martin family were inspired by our range of kitchen styles and designs and felt inspired to upgrade their new build kitchen space. After an initial consultation, we drew up CAD designs for the Martin family to see their visions come to life. They selected a handleless, polar white kitchen design, opting for an ultra-modern style that would not go out of fashion and was in keeping with the rest of their house. The family chose a Silestone worktop in Eternal Serena suede matte finish. The minimal detailing of the handleless cabinets would create a sleek look with perfect lines of symmetry that would last and remain relevant for years to come. 

To offset the polar white we added accents of black throughout the kitchen using a matt black Quooker boiling tap, pendant lights above the island and black seats, helping to maintain a modern, sophisticated look. We added Smart LED lights under the cabinets that can be controlled by mobile and set to different colours to add a further hint of colour to the room. 

The minimal kitchen seamlessly conceals its remarkable functionality, as we included several leading, high-tech appliances. This included two full Siemens ovens with steam and microwave included, integrated larder fridge and freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The Siemens hob included a hidden extractor in the unit above the hob, alleviating the need for a big extraction hood. 

The Martin family were extremely happy with their new space that struck the perfect balance between practicality and aesthetics.
