A Contemporary Bathroom with a Luxurious Marble Finish

For this project the client reached out to us to undertake the full installation and design of the master bedroom en-suite/ family bathroom. We were fortunate enough to have worked for this client previously, having been delighted with the installed and designed kitchen a few years prior to them contacting us again. Like many others, the customer asked us to remove their existing bath fixture and pipework to replace it with a luxurious walk-in shower with glass panels to upgrade the overall aesthetic by adding a modern edge.

Meticulous designing ensured that the existing space was enhanced. We therefore elected for a wall hung basin unit and toilet to optimise the floor space allowing for greater accessibility. The client was eager to make the most of the natural light available and so we opted for a vertical mirrored wall cabinet with soft-close doors to harness sunlight creating a bright and cheerful ambience. 

The client was keen to create a marbled look that would create a sense of grandeur, thus we suggested our large format 120x60cm matt calacatta marble effect porcelain tile. With a cool white base colour and the addition of a charcoal vein, this tile is truly striking. This project challenged previous conventions of a marble design with a complimentary wooden floor to harmonise the colour scheme with warmer tones. The end result of this project boasts an exquisite spa-inspired look that provides a timeless and practical bathroom for our clients to enjoy for years to come.
