AITKIN FAMILY BATHROOM PROJECT

Designed to their exact specification.

Having completed a stunning contemporary kitchen for the Aitkins, they approached to design and fit their family bathroom, and subsequently their master bedroom ensuite.

The Aitkin family required a new family bathroom that would be practical for the whole family. With quite a small space taken up mainly by a large bath, they wanted the room redesigned to feel more spacious and modern.

The family knew they wanted a separate shower unit, but they still required a bath for their dog to wash in. With only a small space to work with, we came up with a couple of design concepts to capture their vision.

After visiting the exact showroom in Wokingham, and reviewing the initial designs, they selected Matki and RAK Ceramics , both well-renowned brands for their quality. They were also inspired by our bathroom in the showroom and wanted the textured wave tile included in their bathroom as a feature wall.

The Aitkins decided on a freestanding bath and a Matki shower. Even though this wasn’t the ensuite, they still wanted the family bathroom to feel luxurious and relaxing, which is why they selected a rainfall showerhead and a second handheld shower for practicality.

We coordinated all work from start to finish - from initial designs to fit out. Undertaking the whole process ourselves for our projects allows us to optimise efficiency and time. Having completed three separate rooms within the Aitkin’s house allowed us to create rooms that complimented one another and resulted in a seamless flow throughout the house.
