AITKIN EN SUITE PROJECT

Designed to their exact specification.

This elegant, relaxing ensuite was the third room we created for the Aitkins, following the successful completion of their kitchen and family bathroom. Currently a wet room, the family wanted the space transformed into a relaxing room that they could use to unwind and switch off.

After a detailed consultation, we came up with two designs - one dark and moody, the other bright and light. After seeing both options, the Aitkins decided on a darker colour palette, which created a more relaxing mood and spa-like ambience.

RAK products were used throughout, a unique feature being the large shower with a flush shower tray, creating a seamless look. The niche in the shower complimented the smooth lines throughout the bathroom, giving a stylish space for shampoo bottles and more to be displayed in the shower for ease and convenience. We also added a decorative niche above the toilet.

Storage in the ensuite was important to the Aitkins. We added a hidden cupboard at eye level, to provide plenty of concealed storage.

To complete this room and create the ultimate relaxation space, we added mood lighting in both niches so that the lighting could be adjusted to create a calmer atmosphere.
