The Jones wanted a new kitchen and tv/dining area in their home. They initially just wanted a wall removed and the existing kitchen replaced, however, after going through initial designs they decided on a full extension. The existing space didn’t give enough room for the dining area and a comfortable flow between the kitchen and dining space. They also were set on having an island, which there was not enough room for currently.

We carried out all work from start to finish, from the designs to all building work, electrics, plumbing and decorating. This included rewiring and adding a new fuse board, fitting new radiators and adding glass pocket doors so the room could be closed off from the hallway if desired.

The Jones knew from the start that they wanted a modern, handleless design that would be timeless but also different, with a bit of ‘wow’ factor. They selected a two-tone design of black gloss and walnut wood, with a quartz worktop. We added LED smart lighting throughout that could be set to different colours through the mobile app.

For the appliances, the Jones selected Siemens oven and steam oven, dishwasher and extractor fan, and a Blanco spray tap.
