PELLEN PROJECT

Designed to their exact specification.

The Pellen family had an awkward space split into a kitchen and small utility room. They knew they wanted an open plan space that created a flow between the two rooms, but they didn’t want the utility room appliances, such as the washing machine and tumble dryer, to be on show in the kitchen. 

They approached us searching for a solution, feeling unsure of how to open the space up and combine the two rooms in an appealing way. We came up with a modern, handleless design in a two-tone white and pine grey with Karndean flooring, brightening and modernising the space. Our design captured their vision, bringing the two rooms together and providing plenty of storage to conceal appliances they didn’t want on view.

We designed a unique, round breakfast bar to replace the high island in the old kitchen, as the Pellen’s specifically wanted lower, normal height seating that they could watch the TV from. We added French doors to replace a single door and window, leading directly out to the garden. 

We took care of the whole project, from initial design to building work and fit out, to create a modern, new kitchen for the Pellen’s.
