FREEMAN PROJECT

The Freemans found exact through a unique client recommendation, which interestingly came about as they were hunting for the right windows for their new extension–as a window fitter they had found was showing them some of his work, they fell in love with the kitchen on the other side of the glass.

This inspired them to come to us for their new kitchen design to go inside the extension. The architect had designed a great space, so we were able to work with the client to come up with the perfect concept for their kitchen.

DETAILS EXPLAINED

The couple were looking for a clean and sophisticated space, which would make room for socialising without compromising on practicality. This informed the sleek, handleless design and large kitchen island, allowing for plenty of storage and utility space whilst beautifully zoning the room.

A SPEKVA Antique Oak breakfast bar with a seating area was included in the island, adding an element of comfort and warmth. This perfectly compliments the two-tone Concrete Dark and Dekton Opera Velvet colour scheme, bringing a welcoming balance to the cooler tones.

This was all made better through the unique lighting of the room: the couple chose warm white spotlights to softly illuminate the space from above whilst hidden cold-white LEDs run beneath the worktops and white gloss wall units. These work together to create a bright and inviting atmosphere.

The perfect finishing touches were found in the appliances, as the client chose a silver Quooker boiling tap and a built-under wine fridge–tying together the ideal social space with practical solutions.
