HARVEY PROJECT

The Harvey family reached out to us after seeing their friend's brand new kitchen (Thurston Kitchen) that we finished at the end of last year.

Their previous kitchen had no major faults, the client was solely looking for a kitchen refresh with a clean and contemporary design that also made better use of the existing space, and allowed for a more seamless kitchen experience.

Being a design-led project, this allowed both the client and the design team to be creative with what they wanted to transform this space into. The Harvey family opted for exact to redesign their kitchen after seeing first-hand the final result of another client's kitchen, the quality and extensiveness of our showroom, and ultimately because they loved our design. As well as this, all costs were included upfront for full transparency and peace of mind.

DETAILS EXPLAINED

We selected a wide range of contemporary and efficient fittings and appliances, allowing for the space to maintain its clean and modern feel, while ensuring an effortless kitchen experience. Fitted with LED lighting, heat-resistant Dekton work surfaces and on-trend radiators, we managed to give the kitchen a bright, welcoming feel.

Appliances ranged from a Quooker tap, built-in wine fridge and Siemens eye-height dual ovens, while a tall larder, hidden drawers and pull-out corner units maximised the storage space. We also added a small but coordinating utility area for some of the larger appliances to keep the kitchen space itself looking minimal and sleek.

Maximising the natural light from the conservatory area, we were able to give this open plan kitchen/dining space a bright and welcoming feel, making it the new hub of the home.
